ROLAND RAYMUND PENAFLORIDA
President - SCT Batch 89
Year 2009 - April, 2013
Roland has to be commended for his four years of excellent service as our former Batch 89 president. He lives at 19894 Fir St., Executive Heights Subd., Paranaque City yet distance was never an issue when his presence & leadership was warranted as most activities took place in the Taytay proper. He made his presence known, took charge, & even displayed some witty sense of humor in every gathering. Roland was a respiratory therapist at Makati Medical Center for six years &, though, he undoubtedly was very proficient in that occupation, an opportunity presented itself in fuel retail. Smart & intuitive as he is, he shifted to another profession & therefore now works as a dealer for VAA Gasoline Service Center. Consequently, he is a qualified member of the Petron Dealers Assn.
For fun, Roland takes mountain biking to the extreme by participating in downhill & sometimes Enduro racing, an activity that involves a certain amount of risk & stamina. He would travel to places like Benguet, San Mateo, Tagaytay & Laguna to satisfy this need for adventure. But Roland is not just all about being a thrill-seeker. He also has a softer side manifested by his love for 80’s music, alternative &, yes, Reggae.
Roland is also a devoted husband to wife, Maria Cristina, & adores his children, Vincent Rae, Rae Cristine, & Andreu Rae to pieces. We haven’t seen the last of Roland yet. He is now the Souvenirs Committee Coordinator overseeing the production of ‘souvenir’ items to be given out the night of the reunion which includes, & definitely not limited to, the batch event shirts.
Thank you, Roland, for your never-ending dedication & continuous support in making Batch 89 a huge success!

ANNIE DE LEON GILE
Vice - President; SCT Batch 89
Year 2009 - April, 2013
Annie, along with Roland, led Batch 89’s events & activities quite efficiently in the last 4 years without a single word of exasperation. She took on her responsibilities, demanding as they were, despite her busy life as a wife to Joseph Solla Gile & mom to Aniel Jemille. Her time is further divided by her work as a government employee of Taytay, Rizal.
Living at Blk 4 Lot 1 Ciudad Del Sol II, Sta. Ana, Taytay, Annie pursues her interest in real estate transactions, & that goes hand in hand with her other interest that is sightseeing. That makes her the perfect person to go to for property advice.
Annie may not be second in charge anymore but Batch 89 is guaranteed that she’ll continue to show her support 100%... even more if the need arises.

GINA LUAGUE SORIANO
Secretary - SCT Batch 89
Year 2009 - April, 2013
Gina is one of many SCT Batch 89 members who have shown loyalty & perseverance in assuring batch activities result in a positive outcome. She served as our very competent secretary for the last 4 years & now has taken on a new role as the Socials Committee Coordinator. She will lead a team who’ll be responsible for reaching out to members of Batch 89 collecting their most current contact information. She & her team will keep communication open between Batch 89 & the immediate families of fellow batch mates who have left this world prematurely.
She will also be the middle person between Batch 89 & Siena College of Taytay informing us about the school’s activities for the year so we may participate on our own accord.
Despite the unlimited time & effort she demonstrates for the batch, Gina still finds the time to work as a dentist by running a clinic in her home, 11 Sampaloc Street, St. Anthony Subd., Cainta, Rizal. She continues to prove her multitasking abilities by being a wife to Jun Soriano & a devoted mother to her 3 boys, Gian, Marvin, & Robin. When she’s not preoccupied with Batch 89, her work, & her family, Gina likes going on Facebook reading up on friends’ updates & establishing constant communication with them. Her way of relaxing is to read & cook, but, certainly, not doing both at the same time.
We are very fortunate in having Gina as one of our officers as she has proven, time & again, her dedication & devotion to Batch 89.

GRACE CELONES TABLAN
Secretary - SCT Batch 89
Year 2009 - April, 2013
Grace has been our very trustworthy treasurer for the past 4 years & with the newly-elected treasurer stepping down, she graciously stepped in again as pleadingly requested by the current officers. She has endlessly proven her integrity & we’re more than lucky to have her fill a role that she’s been very good at. For this, we couldn’t be more grateful.
SCT high 89ers aren’t the only ones vying for Grace’s attention. Her priorities are, of course, her husband, Mario R. Tablan, & son, Marce Gio Tablan. She dedicates most of her day looking after her family’s needs, but when she’s not preoccupied with that, she loves catching up with friends in her home at Monpert Hills Subd, Taytay, Rizal.
From the bottom of our hearts, Grace, we thank you for committing another year of service to this association that has demanded so much of your time & energy in the past.
