OCULAR VISIT REPORT
It was a rainy afternoon of Saturday, April 25, 2013 when Raymond, Rachel and Val cruised over the traffic congested highway of Manila East Road in Taytay, Rizal for the scheduled ocular visits. First stop was the MIZZLE FARM GARDEN where they had trouble getting in to the stiff and tight roads leading to the venue. Though the place may be good and price is acceptable, access roads may be the downside.
Next stop was the ESTELLITA’S GLASS DOME Events Venue in Taytay, Rizal, (near NCBA). Really, the place is good but the price sucks. They have two function venues, one is the glass dome function room that can accommodate up to 180 persons and priced at a whopping P50,000 for 4 hours to include the use of a sound system and an LCD Projector with screen. Another one is the open air tent-filled outdoor garden venue that can accommodate a maximum 250 persons and priced at P25,000 for 4 hours, same inclusions.
Last venue visited was the new RUBLOU EVENTS PLACE in Ortigas Avenue Extension, Cainta, Rizal (beside Brookside Hills Subdivision). The air-conditioned function room can accommodate up to 150 persons, and can be extruded up to 180 persons, with the use of the VERANDAS, overlooking the highway. Verandas are perfect for the smokers and a recommended area for the Catering and mobile sound-system set-up. Parking would not be a problem, as they have a vacant lot located at the back that can accommodate up to 20 cars at the same time, aside from the parking spaces located inside the premises of the mall.
That’s it… A meeting was set on Friday, May 3, 2013, 6pm at the RUBLOU EVENTS PLACE involving all the present officers of SCT Batch 89. We need to finalize things-up as to the final venue of our event for next year. For now, RUBLOU EVENTS PLACE stood-up amongst all of the suggested venues, basically because of its location, proximity, setting and price of P1,700 PER HOUR, that allows us to party from 6pm till we drop.
Special thanks to VAL FRANCISCO for lending his car FREE OF CHARGE during the ocular visits.
Thanks Bro!
